WHAT
This Crochet-Along is dedicated to all amigurumi-loving crafters who want to come along on an unforgettable undersea journey and find out more about two secret aquatic animals: Gumdrop and Juju. The skill level for the Crochet-Along is intermediate, and the pattern has been designed by Projectarian.
HOW
Sign up to the Crochet-Along to not miss any pattern part. Over five weeks, you will receive an email each week with a new part of the pattern and videos created by Projectarian that will guide you through the project. To participate, you can order your Crochet-Along kit here. There is a limited amount of kits available.
WHEN
The kits have been released! The Mystery Crochet-Along begins on June 5th and ends on July 3rd.

Imagine taking a deep breath to dive down the ocean and see what is catching the sunlight below. Come and join our underwater tale and discover the fictitious Crochet-Along characters, Gumdrop and Juju, as well as the treasure they are guarding.

Meet the designer!
For the #UnderwaterTailsCAL, Hobbii is delighted to have teamed up with Jessie from Projectarian. Based in South Africa, she is not only super passionate about the sea and scuba diving, but she is also exceptionally amazing at designing mind-blowing amigurumi characters.
Her focus? Crochet patterns based on real-life animals and paying attention to their natural proportions while sprinkling in some fantasy elements like her signature pastel colors. Oh, and adding large, friendly eyes…
When working on the #UnderwaterTailsCAL, she especially liked studying the shape and proportions of the two real-life animals she was inspired by for the Crochet-Along.
As we at Hobbii already know a little bit more about Gumdrop and Juju, we can honestly say that the reversible amigurumi design has turned out beyond our expectations. We cannot wait for all of you to come along our #UnderwaterTailsCAL journey!
